Day 1
Places we visited: Sgt. Floyd, the Lewis and Clark Park. A gas
station and the Bad Lands.
Most important thing I learned today: Sgt. Floyd died by the
Missouri river then reburied somewhere else.
Most fun thing I did today: Went swimming.
Journal entry: We traveled and went to a camp ground and went
miniature golfing.
Day 2
Places we visited today: Bad lands and the Visitors Center.
Most important thing I learned today: Rain and winds, ocean,
jungle made the Bad lands have color.
Most fun I had today: We are doing a lot of fun things this week in
South Dakota, Wyoming.
Day 3
Places we visited today: Devils Tower, the Visitors Center there at
the Devils Tower.
Most important thing we learned today: the Black Hills aren't really
black there really trees.
Most fun thing I did today: Climbed some of the Devils Tower
rocks that had fallen.
Journal entry: Its been fun this summer. I drove in the suburban
four 2 hours. I saw Mount Rushmore then we went to set up camp
site. Then we went to eat then we came back and called our mom.
We met neighbors and started a fire. My dad went to get more fire
wood for the four days were staying at. Thats all the journal for
the day.
Day 4
Places we visited today: we visited Mount Rushmore's area. The
presidents side, a cave, miniature golf.
Most important thing I learned today: Was when the people were
making the faces they used bombs a lot.
Most fun thing I did to day: Was go miniature golfing and look at
the presidents side, it was fun.
Journal entry: I love this summer. Because we are visiting Mount
Rushmore, Devils Tower, and the Bad Lands they were awesome
because of the color from the forest and the ocean. We are having
a blast in KOA camp ground with a swimming pool and a slide.
