We got here around 3:30 pm CST, 4:30 pm local time. It was a pretty long
drive for all three of us, but we made it! Little Al ate and took a short nap
right when we got here. Even though he slept a lot of the way here today, he
was exhausted! A couple of hours after we got here, we got in touch with
marycateandashley and met her at Max and Erma's for a burger...well, Miss
skinny minny had a salad, but Ryanandholly :) had burgers! For those of you who
may be confused, marycateandashley is a student we met when we were on the
"floor" last time Little Al was here. She is studying to be a nurse, and believe
me, she is going to be a GREAT one! She is a sweetheart, and was nice enough to
meet us tonight away from the hospital. She will be done with school this
spring...and her real name is Mary Catherine. Ryan started calling her
marycateandashley (you know, after those Olsen twins), and it just kind of
stuck with us.
Tomorrow we may just relax, but our plan is to go to the hospital and see if we
can visit Nurse Kris, and maybe get Little Al's chest X-ray out of the way. We
may decide, however, just to hang out and relax. Poor Alan is not used to so
much action, and in the last two days he's had A LOT!!! He's doing extremely
well so far.
That's all for now. Ryan and I are hanging in there, though it's hard. So, please
send us messages, and pray for us!
