This morning we slept in, well Ryan did most of the sleeping in as Little Al got
right on to the new time zone and was up at 7:30 am local time.  Holly was able
to put him back down for about another hour though, so we got a chance to
adjust to Eastern time.

Alan seems to know something is up, or is just fed up with not being at home and
the change in routine.  He was pretty fussy this morning so we did not know how
the day would turn out.

First order of business, stop by to see Lara, the director of sales here at
Residence Inn and the one who has taken good care of us.  Judy was also back
working this morning so we got to see her again!

Then it was off to U of M Hospitals where we would try to meet up with Nurse
Kris and maybe get his chest x-ray out of the way.  Since it was around lunch
time when we got there, Kris was at lunch, so we headed down to radiology and
were able to get the x-rays done....one less thing for tomorrow!  By the time
that was done, Nurse Kris was back and we got stop in to see here for a few
minutes.  At least this way she gets to see Alan as we know him, not with a bunch
of tubes and bandages.  She informed us that it somehow worked out that she
will be on all weekend and should be able to take care of Alan after his
surgery...hmmmm, wonder how that worked out?!!!!!

Well, Alan was still pretty fussy and needed to eat and sleep, so we decided to
stop by the Maize & Blue Deli to pick up some sandwiches for lunch back at the
hotel.  If you get a chance stop here for great deli food!!!  We hung out at the
room the rest of the day, Alan eating and sleeping sporadically and remaining
fussy.  (still fussy at the time of this writing)  Ryan went to the store for
supplies and we are about ready to head over for the evening social, tonight is
Macaroni Grill night, so dinner ought to be good...not to mention included in the
daily hotel rate!

Tomorrow is a big morning with Alan having 3 different tests or procedures, but
we should be done  before lunch time.  Will update you then!!!

Take care!!!

Love,
Holly, Ryan and Little Al
