Saturday, Little Al had a good day, he was able to rest up
after the busy Friday that he had. Then on Sunday, he had
a good morning, but when dad took over the watch in the
afternoon he became very fussy. He wasn't feeling too
well and his monitors were constantly going off. He was
basically up for 8 straight hours and that was making
things worse. Needless to say, both dad and Little Al
were very exhausted by days end.
Mom stayed with him last night and today brought much
brighter things. He slept all night and most of today. But
best of all...his swallow test came back great, which means
no problems there, it will just take some time for him to
learn the art of being bottle fed, and it will take some
time before he can make much noise.
He also came off of his monitors, which makes things much
nicer, now mom & dad just need to learn the signs that
point to trouble. But Little Al is doing so good that that
should not be too much of an issue.
Tomorrow should hopefully bring more good news, we
should learn if we are close to coming home or not....
