Hello????  Is anyone still out there?  I know, I know...we haven't
written anything lately, and you probably gave up on us...we won't be doing
it daily now that we are home, but will try to at least weekly for those
of you who are still faithful to Little Al!

So, we are now home, and have been for a little over a week.  Little Al
and his mom and dad are still adjusting.  Actually, mom and dad are
adjusting, Little Al is just hanging out.  It is amazing how different it is
without having a monitor on him all the time!  He's just a normal kid, now!
No more beeps or alarms! Mom and dad watch the video monitor
religiously, though!

Let's see...Holly is still pumping.  Ryan is back to work, although it's hard
for him to leave each morning!  And the girls are extremely excited to
have their brother here!  They were here all weekend, and helped changed
diapers!  They are a great help to us, and they think their brother is
pretty cute!  We couldn't ask for two better big sisters!!  Little Al is
sleeping through the night now!  Dr. Mooradian had us put him on a feeding
drip through the night.  This is so he will gain more weight.  He gets fed
more with the drip than when we fed him every 3 hours throughout the
night.  So, he gets fed a little bit all night long, and does not wake up
hungry.  When mom gets up to pump, though she has to change his diaper,
and boy does he give her dirty looks when she comes in at 3am!  He
definitely likes his sleep...once he finally decides to fall asleep.  The
little guy does not like to miss a thing, so it is a bit of a challenge to get
him to take naps during the day, and to put him down at night.  But, when
he finally gives in, boy does he sleep!

Holly did not like it when Ryan had to go to work, but she is thankful for
the help she is getting.  Especially from Nana!  She comes over daily to
see her grandson, help with housework, or just sit while Holly showers or
takes a nap!  We've had many visitors, too!  Big Al finally made it to town
this weekend, so they finally met each other!  That was very fun for us!

Just for your information, if you would like to see Little Al, all you have
to do is call.  Holly is home from work for now until October.  So, call
her, and she will let you know if it is OK to come over and visit!  Little Al
does get tired very easily, so it will depend on what all has happened that
day, but please don't be afraid to at least call.  Of course, you have to
be healthy in order to visit.

This week is going to be pretty busy for mom and boy.  Monday he will be
getting his one month pictures taken.  Tuesday he goes to the Pediatrician
to get checked out, and Friday to the ENT to see what he has to say
about Little Al's vocal chords.  Although, we're not sure he'll need an
ENT because he is getting louder and louder every day!  We never thought
we'd be happy when we heard him scream, but we do get very excited
when he does let a loud one out!  He's been doing a lot of "talking" lately,
too, so we are hoping that they are just healing themselves!

Well, this got quite long!  And gosh...believe it or not, I (Holly) need to go
pump!  Keep signing our guestbook.  We do still check it daily, and miss
getting messages from you guys!

Boy is it good to be home!

Click here for new photos, I still have some that I can not get
downloaded, even some with Big Al!  I will post them when I can.

With love,
Holly, Ryan, Little Al, Erin & Megan
