Hi everyone!  Time for another update on our family.  OK, so there is
really not much new with our family besides playing away with Little Al!

Ryan's brother Gary and his family came down this last weekend to
meet their nephew/cousin.  They spent the day with us on Sunday, and
we grilled out and relaxed with them.  It was nice to see them, and
very relaxing!

Also, Holly's sister Sasha threw a family baby shower for Little Al on
Saturday at her new house.  That was very fun!  Holly got to see some
friends and family she hadn't seen in awhile, and everyone finally got
to meet the newest Miller!  Oh yeah, and in case you missed it, at the
same time Michigan beat Iowa!!

Since the last update, Alan has had another appointment with his
favorite doctor, Dr. Mooradian.  We are keeping the tube out as long as
he gains an average of 1/2 an ounce a day.  So far he is doing better
than that!  He gets weighed at the Doctor on Thursday, but according
to our scale, the little guy weighs 10 pounds!!!  And, mommy believes it!
Her back is hurting!  Anyway, Doc is proud of Little Al, and says he's a
very strong boy!  Our projected time frame for the next surgery is
mid/end January.  He wants him to weigh 15 lbs. by then...I don't think
that will be a problem at all!

The coolest news we have this week, though is that Holly's friend from
high school, Kristin, who writes for our hometown newspaper got a hold
of the family and asked to do a story about Little Al.  She called this
morning to tell us that it will be in tomorrow's paper, and it ended up
being 3000 words long.  The problem with this is that these stories
are usually only 500 words!  The editor, however, didn't want to cut
any of it, so it will be a two parter!!  One part this week, and one next!
Our picture will even be in it with the girls, too!  We are very excited.
And...If you are reading this because you read the article and decided
to log on, welcome to our webpage...send us a message!!

Well, that's all for now.  Things are going very well!

Love to all,
Holly, Ryan, Erin, Megan, and Little Al

P.S.  Hi to all our friends at U of M who are keeping track of us!!!  Dr.
Lozier, Nurse Kris, and Marycateandashley, we miss you!
