First, let me apologize again for not putting any updates
out to the website for over a month. It seems that we get
busy at times and forget which things are really important.
On the home front - we bought a new camper and intend
to go camping much more this year than in the past 2
years. We all enjoy it greatly and is an inexpensive form
of entertainment and a way to 'get away', even if only for
a few days. It is a 1997 24' Wilderness that has
everything we wanted and is in great shape. Thanks to
my brother Gary for finding it for us at his place of work,
Buscher Brothers. They gave us a great deal on it and I
would recommend them to anyone! We have now
graduated up from a 3 man tent in 1996, a 3 room tent in
1997, a pop-up camper in 1999 and now a full blown trailer
that is self contained. It sure makes 'going' camping a lot
easier! I will put some photos and more details of it out
next time.
Holly & I are getting ready to spend more than a week in
the great outdoors. First we will be on the annual fishing
trip for 3 days of great fishing and then we will meet up
with Jeff & Jane for 4 more days of canoing the Boundary
Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. Neither of us can wait, it
has been a long year and we are both ready to get away
for some rest and relaxation.
The girls are still busy at softball, when it's not raining
that is. They have had 4 games that have been cancelled
and still have 3 of them to make up. I'm sure we will end
up having softball games every night of the week!
Erin just celebrated her 12th birthday last week, it's hard
to imagine she is growing up so quickly, before we know
it, she will be driving a car...ahhhh!!!
I better stop here so I can get this posted. I PROMISE to
start updating more regularly!!!
